How to Send Broadcast Messages

Softros LAN Messenger allows you to send messages to entire groups or specified users from your users list.

1. Left-click Softros LAN Messenger's icon (Picture ) to access Messenger's main window (Picture ),
   
   
   
   or right-click Messenger's icon to access the system tray menu (Picture ), then select 'Restore' from the pop-up menu. This will open Messenger's main window (Picture )
   
   
   
2. Right-click a group to which you want to send the broadcast message.
   
   
   
3. Select “Send message to this group.”
4. On the window that appears, mark groups or individual users to receive the broadcast message.
   
   
   
   
5. Type the message text and click the “Send” button or press the appropriate hot-key to send the broadcast message to the marked users.
